1. Information We Collect

When you use Simpliù, we collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Account information (name, email, firm details)
  • Client data you enter into the platform
  • Documents you upload
  • Communication preferences and notification settings

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to provide and operate the Service — managing your clients, assignments, invoices, and communications as you direct. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure AWS infrastructure in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region. We implement AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and periodic vulnerability scanning to protect your information.

4. Multi-Tenancy & Isolation

Each firm's data is strictly isolated using row-level security policies. No firm can access another firm's data under any circumstances. All API requests are authenticated and authorized at the firm level.

5. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following services to provide our platform:

  • AWS (infrastructure, authentication, storage)
  • AWS Bedrock — Claude AI (AI assistant, processed in Mumbai region)
  • WhatsApp Business API (messaging)
  • Gmail API (email communication)

6. AI Assistant (Aloy)

When you use the Aloy AI Assistant:

  • AI Assist (general help): Your questions are processed by AWS Bedrock (Claude) in the Mumbai region. No client data, financial records, or firm-specific information is sent to the AI model.
  • Firm Insights (data queries): Only database structure metadata (table and column names) is sent to the AI model for query generation. Your actual business data is queried locally within AWS infrastructure and never transmitted to any AI model. Query results may be sent for natural language formatting, but sensitive identifiers (PAN, Aadhar, GSTIN) are always stripped before processing.
  • Document AI (document analysis): When you analyze a document, its text content is extracted and sent to AWS Bedrock (Claude) within the Mumbai region for summarization and analysis. The document content is processed in-memory and is not stored by the AI provider after the response is generated. AI-generated summaries are stored in our database and accessible to authorized members of your firm. Documents never leave AWS infrastructure during processing.
  • Questions, AI responses, and document summaries are stored to provide service functionality (conversation history, cached summaries) and are not shared with third parties.
  • AI-generated responses are not used to train AI models (AWS Bedrock Zero Data Retention).

7. Your Rights
